Gemini App & Google Vids Join Google Workspace Core Services
Exciting news for Google Workspace users! Google is giving you more power than ever before because they’re adding the Gemini App and Google Vids to the core service lineup. You read that right, these handy AI tools are now included with your existing Workspace subscription.
The Gemini App
Previously, to access the full power of Gemini, you needed a separate “Gemini for Google Workspace” license. Now, with this update, the standalone Gemini app (https://gemini.google.com/) with enterprise-grade data protection is included in most Workspace Business, Enterprise, and Frontline plans. This means millions of users will enjoy the benefits of AI while maintaining the highest levels of security and privacy.
Google Vids
Google Vids, previously part of the Gemini for Google Workspace Alpha program, is an AI-powered video creation tool that makes it easy to produce engaging videos. So whether you need to create internal training materials, marketing content, or captivating presentations, Google Vids has you covered. Collaborate and share videos just as easily as you do in Docs, Sheets and Slides, all without ever leaving Workspace. Simple sharing controls and easy-to-manage permissions allow you granular control over who gets to edit, comment, or view your videos.
Why is this a big deal?
- Saves money: You get powerful AI tools without needing to pay extra.
- Easy to use: Gemini and Google Vids are now available within your usual Workspace apps.
- Get more done: Gemini helps you work faster and smarter.
- Make awesome videos: Google Vids makes it simple to create professional-looking videos even if you’re not very tech savvy.
- Everything in one place: All your favourite tools and AI features are together in Workspace.
- Safe and secure: Your data is protected with the same high standards Google always uses.
