It is estimated that 1 in 7 of all employees in the UK have a care role outside of their workplace, and balancing work and care can be extremely hard. Without support and understanding at work, carers can experience high levels of stress and exhaustion, impacting their personal and professional lives.

There are different ways that employers can create a carer friendly environment, that not only benefit the employee but also the business.
