Come and join an energising conversation on 15 January, 5.30 – 7.15pm, at South East Dance studios to connect with new and familiar faces at our next Net Zero Champions event.
We will be joined by the newly appointed Head of Net Zero for Brighton & Hove City Council, Alice Berry. From designing metro stations and basements in Hong Kong, to co-authoring industry guidance on carbon reduction, Alice has had a varied and interesting career. She’ll talk to us about her journey, and give us some insights into her plans for her new role, and how they’re looking to work with local stakeholders to transition to Net Zero.
We will also be hearing from Natasha Bridge, the Business Manager at Greater Brighton, who will give an overview of the Sussex Energy Mission and what this means for businesses.
Emily Watson, the Building and Sustainability Manager at South East Dance, will also give us a few tips on how they’ve become more energy efficient and sustainable.
We’ll also facilitate group discussions to share your wins, exchange ideas, and hear from some of the key sustainability figures in the city.
For those of you who are joining us for the first time, the Net Zero Champions are the Chamber members who are driving the journey to Net Zero, circular economy and sustainability. The group offers a chance to work collaboratively, inspire each other, generate ideas, support one another and showcase your successes.
