Connecting communities to generate sustainable prosperity
Join the conversation with entrepreneurs, arts and community leaders to generate a step change in sustainable, inclusive growth in Brighton and East Sussex.
The RSA is delighted to be convening a dialogue between entrepreneurs, arts and community leaders to explore how Brighton leverages its creative, AI and technology capabilities for the benefit of the whole community and our environment. Everyone is welcome to join the conversation, which seeks to learn from what is already successful through a showcase of game-changing local initiatives and short, insightful contributions from local champions including Dr Cara Courage, Lloyd Gofton, Cllr Jacob Taylor. The key to the success of the day is conversation to uncover how we can design stronger, more connected communities that promote regional prosperity.
Join us if you would like to explore questions such as:
- What it means to be a Digital City? What are its aims, who benefits, how is it delivered?
- Cultivating Brighton as an inclusive creative destination — What does this mean in practice? What progress has been made? What happens next?
- How to be a responsible business operating within a biosphere reserve? How do we foster a local regenerative coastal environment?
This rich dialogue will be facilitated by Ann Longley, Richard Freeman and Mica Janiv.
