Your views on graduate recruitment wanted!
AGCAS (the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services) is investigating employers’ views on the graduate employment market and, in particular, their perspectives on graduates' work and extra-curricular experience, their motivation and awareness, and the recruitment process.
They are especially interested in the views of small and medium-sized employers who may individually only recruit small numbers but collectively employ the majority of graduates entering the job market each year. In combination with their recent survey of graduates, the findings will provide them with a more sophisticated understanding of the workings of the graduate employment market and inform the future strategies of AGCAS and HE careers services.
The survey will only take about ten minutes to complete and will be open until Friday 25th January. If you wish to participate please go to http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/employerstudy.
This survey is part of a larger project, funded by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, as an outcome of the recent Wilson Review of Business-University Collaboration. This project involves AGCAS and the Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR) working jointly to identify factors influencing successful graduate transition to the employment market, to inform the promotion of good practice in graduate recruitment, and to raise the awareness of the Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR).
