Support for your business with fully funded undergraduate internships.

Brighton Chamber is working with The University of Sussex to find businesses that would benefit from financial support to employ a Sussex student to start in the New Year.

Funded by the University, graduate internships will start on 12th January 2015 for 10 weeks. Internships will be funded at a rate of £7.65 per hour (the UK Living Wage) and can work part time or full time for a maximum 37.5 hours per week.

The aim of the scheme is to enhance the employability of the class of 2014 leavers and graduates will attend compulsory intensive training prior to starting their placement. Graduates must have completed their undergraduate degree at the University of Sussex in the summer of 2014.

The University is inviting potential internship providers to express interest here.

Please note that expression of interests, in the form of a submitted vacancy, must be received via our online form, by 24 October 2014.

Organisations accepted for fully funded support must agree to complete recruitment and selection processes by 5 December 2014.

Once your opportunity is confirmed it will be advertised and interested candidates will be asked to apply directly and we ask you to conduct your usual recruitment process.
