Want to speak to the future generation?
Do you work in the creative, media, finance or science industries? Could you talk to young people in Brighton about your job, how to enter these industries as a new recruit and maybe give them a task to show what your industry involves? If so, can you help with the event below…
Monday 25th February, 1.00 – 4.00 p.m
Independent school Brighton
“Industry Masterclass” with 70 x Year 10 students (aged15 - 16) in 3 groups
This half day workshop helps provides students with industry insight in to media, creative and science industries. We would like to include a talk from a person who works in each of these areas with a task that the students could do in a session. The sessions will be run twice with different students. The areas of media, creative and science are very wide so we could have 2 people who represent different parts of these areas.
To book your place please contact Wendy Gorham (wendy.gorham@y-e.org.uk / 07920 763651). This event is being organised by Young Enterprise. More details on www.young-enterprise.org.uk
Also on 14th February a local Brighton independent school is having its biennial careers convention from 12.30 – 3.45 (buffet lunch and unlimited refreshments included!) If you would like to attend and be an “exhibitor” and meet the future generation please contact Wendy Gorham on wendy.gorham@y-e.org.uk
