University of Brighton Strategic Management: Managing Success short course
The University of Brighton are running a Strategic Management: Managing Success course again at the University of Brighton on Mondays 11, 18 and 25 June and 2 July. The course is a management training programme covering strategic marketing management, financial management, people management and business planning and implementation. The course, delivered on four separate days by staff from the Brighton Business School, can be taken as a package, or days attended separately depending on your training needs.

- Strategic marketing management, Monday 11 June
Dr Clifford Conway
Strategic marketing management offers a useful insight into the key issues faced by organisations in competitive environments and covers strategic thinking, the marketing mix, analysing the business environment, analysing and matching company resources and using business models
- Financial management, Monday 18 June
AJ Cilliers
Financial management examines the core areas of financial decision making. Issues for discussion include financial concepts and decisions, pricing and cost, investment appraisal, cash forecasting and interpretation of accounts
- People management, Monday 25 June
Sian Eggert/Dr Jenny Knight
People management focuses on recruitment, developing, rewarding and retaining staff, creating synergistic teams and maximising organisational learning
- Business planning and implementation, Monday 2 July
Dr Clifford Conway
Business planning and implementation will enable you to integrate the previous elements of the programme into an outline business plan and examine how the marketing plan in particular will enable business objectives to be implemented. This workshop can also be taken independently of the previous elements.
Fees: SPECIAL early booking offer for this course. SAVE £200 on the full four days or £75 on individual days if you book by 21 May. Fees before 21 May: £750 for the full four day course and £200 for each individual day (after 21 May: £ 950 for the four-day course, £275 for each individual day). Fees include course materials, refreshments and lunch each day of the course.
