Tim Smith wins big

Tim Smith of Griffith Smith Farrington Webb LLP solicitors has won a sector star award in recognition of his dedication and achievements in changing lives and making Brighton and Hove a better place.

Tim was a winner in the category of ‘Greatest Contribution to the Community by a Business’ and received their award in a star studded ceremony organised by Community Works.

The awards, now in their third year, were kindly supported by American Express and judged by a panel drawn from local public agencies, businesses and the local community. The awards recognise the amazing community and voluntary activity that happens in Brighton and Hove every day.

The ceremony was attended by over 150 people, including guests from Brighton and Hove City Council, the Police Crime Commissioners office, and local businesses, and was hosted by local comedian Zoe Lyons.

A total of twelve awards were presented throughout the evening to young and adult volunteers and to community workers and organisations across Brighton and Hove.
