Ride the Wave 2014 - free business support
Free business support – that’s fantastic!
Brighton Chamber is about to launch the third series of Ride the Wave business support events. Paid for by Brighton & Hove City Council, and delivered by the Chamber, the previous programmes consistently earned great feedback. This year’s series runs from 28th January to 9th April.
There are workshops for pre-start and start up businesses, food and drink businesses, social enterprises and charities, creative industries, retailers and those businesses with premises that want to save money on utilities. The workshops will take place at a wide variety of locations around the city, and will be led by some of the best practitioners, supported by interesting local case studies.
It’s a challenge to put on the programme alongside the Chamber packed events calendar , but one that we welcome. It’s essential to get the right people to lead the workshops and to make sure that the programme is widely promoted. It’s great fun to work on the project and brings the Chamber in contact with lots of new businesses and local entrepreneurs who want to get involved with making the city a better place to do business.
