Members Martin Searle Shortlisted for TWO Law Society Excellence Awards
Martin Searle solicitors, specialists in employment, housing and community care law in Brighton and Croydon, have been shortlisted for two prestigious Law Society awards.
Despite it being the first time the firm has entered the awards and a record number of nominations, martin searle solicitors has been shortlisted in both categories it entered: Excellence in Marketing and Business Development and Excellence in Community Investment.
Martin Searle solicitors' director Fiona Martin said: “To be shortlisted alongside the UK’s biggest legal names says so much about the hard work of our legal teams and the support of clients and the community groups we work with. Even though our firm is only five years old, our community work has always been a pivotal part of what we do so it’s great to be recognised for that.
“It’s also fantastic to have our digital marketing commended as innovative and creative. This type of marketing is affordable for new and smaller firms and our website helps us compete with much larger competitors.”
The winners will be announced at a dinner in London on October 22, 2009. Speaking as the shortlists were announced, Law Society president Robert Heslett said: “The standard of entries received for the Excellence Awards 2009 has been outstanding. We have received hundreds of entries from across England and Wales and the short list have been very successful in beating off the competition to reach this stage.”
