Member David Blood Supports the British Heart Foundation on 67-mile Walk
David will be raising money for the BHF by trekking around the Isle of Wight. He says:
"Most of the members will not be aware that I had pioneering heart surgery in 1974. The operation was a complete success, although some may argue against that. So now at the age of 37 I have decided to say thanks. On the 17th May 2010 I will start a walk round the Isle of Wight. I am walking in aid of the British heart Foundation and hope that the membership will be able and willing to support me. It is worth noting that the walk is just under 67 miles which is probably more miles than I have walked in the last 37 years so this is quite a challenge.
