Skill and Will - Managing Poor Performers

Does your team have the skill and will to succeed at what they do?

• Do you have under performers in your team that take up so much of your time?
• Are you not really sure what to do?
• Should you keep supporting them to give them another chance but worry that your efforts may not be effective?
• Are you making the ‘Comfortable’ or the ‘Right’ decision?

Many managers and maybe you are one of them, are often tempted to make the comfortable decision rather than the right decision when managing poor performance. So join them for a fun & interactive seminar that will give you some strategies to treat the problem fully by:

• Understanding why it is some of your team members wont or don’t perform
• Exploring some different approaches to take when managing poor performance.
• Learning how to deal with those difficult and often awkward conversations.

It is critical to find the right solution for each individual and explore if it is because they don’t know, don’t care or just can’t do?

Also, it is essential to really understand if the individual has the skill and the will to perform the specific task that you are asking them to do.

Since it will be the last linkup&learn before Christmas of course there will be some festive activities involved.
