Leaf Art
Andrew Staib runs Glorious Gardens, which is a garden design company based in Brighton. Below he shares three photographs titled ‘Leaf Art’.
As part of religious ritual Tibetan Buddhists create beautiful mandalas made of different coloured sands that can take weeks to complete. These beautiful patterns are blown away as part of the ritual of letting go our attachment to earthly goods. Imagine if the Western Art market did that!
With leaves and sticks and stones we can make beautiful simple art in our back gardens and watch as the elements take it away - just like life itself, so brief and fading without a trace!
