Keeping it visual: Taking and using pictures on your phone
Workshop, Brighton Summit, Friday 16 October
Do you use your phone to take images for your business? Do you get frustrated by the way they come out sometimes?
“The single most important component of a camera is the twelve inches behind it!”
Ansel Adams
We all know that the demand for businesses to have tons of visual resource is huge. Photographs are a vital part of that. However, a professional photographer obviously won’t be with you all the time. You can also use your mobiles to keep up your visual presence in social media.
Mobiles therefore have great potential – and with a few helpful pointers you will be able to get a lot more from them. We want to help you to produce some really great looking photographs on a regular basis that keeps your social media profile looking vibrant, and gives you more confidence to enjoy it.
The workshop will be co-hosted by Susi Doherty, Managing Director of Vervate, and Simon Dack, a multi-award winning photographer with an incredibly long and successful career in the media. It will be practical, fun and you will go away with some invaluable tips!
Susi heads up Vervate (formerly Brighton Togs), a company that specializes in providing photography that maximises your marketing potential. Vervate is a company of multi-award winning photographers, working with local and national companies in a wide range of sectors, including Camelot, Wates Construction, Walkabout and Churchill Square. Drawing from extensive experience in the media, marketing and education sectors in particular, Susi and her team enjoy ensuring the journalistic photographs they provide are utilized to their full potential with both corporate and PR clients.
