Invitation to Angel of Mine Charity Campaign Launch, 28th July
Angel of Mine Charity Campaign Launch, raising money for Keep a Child Alive
28th July, 7pm at the Pop Bar, Royal York Hotel, 41-43 Old Steine, Brighton BN1
Local Brighton resident, Louis Brown, with support from Brighton-based health and development consultancy, Pamoja, aim to raise £20,000 for Keep a Child Alive.
Keep a Child Alive provides treatment, care and support to children living in Uganda, Rwanda, South Africa, Kenya and India. Although there is currently no cure for AIDS, today there are life-saving drugs available that can keep HIV infection at bay and prevent the onset of AIDS. For those who get access to this treatment it can mean the difference between life and death. But despite the availability of these life-saving drugs only around one-third of the people who need them have access to them.
The Angel of Mine campaign hopes to raise money for this important cause through the sale of a charity single. The campaign will be officially launched by Mike Weatherley, MP for Hove and attended by local voluntary organisations, community leaders and businesses.
There will be prizes on offer which include meals, designer watches, beauty treatments and luxury hotel accommodation, not to mention numerous bottles of champagne. A Live performance of the charity single plus a special guest DJ who will be playing classic house tunes throughout the evening.
There is no charge to enter the event and raffle tickets cost just £1 each. So come along and have a great night and at the same time you can help raise money the wonderful charity Keep A Child Alive.
