Graves Son & Pilcher announce completion of Foundry Street office space
Chamber members Graves Son & Pilcher are pleased to announce the completion of a significant refurbishment project in the heart of the North Laines in Brighton. For the last 30 years, 30/31 Foundry Street has been used by the Royal Mail as an ancillary store to their main sorting office, but the building has now been re-modelled and restored to create contemporary “loft style” office accommodation.
The building has now been let in it’s entirety to Brighton, Cambridge and London based architects R H Partnership. Spencer Hatton, Director of R H Partnership said: “It was a unique and timely opportunity. Having been established in Brighton for over 25 years and looking to relocate within the centre of the city, we were delighted not only to work alongside a great team, including the landlord and Graves Son & Pilcher, but to realise the restoration of the building and to also have the privilege of occupying the building afterwards”.
Steven Harvey of Graves Son & Pilcher said “It has been a pleasure dealing with all parties concerned in the transformation of this fantastic building over the past 18 months or so. It is particularly pleasing to see a neglected and run-down building transformed into contemporary, highly desirable office space which fit perfectly with R H Partnership’s profile. I wish them every success for the future in the building”.
