Future Copyright Announces Sponsorship of Live & Unsigned Competition 2012
Building on the partnerships that Future Copyright (FC) has with media colleges such as SAE London and the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, the company have been actively seeking other partners to work with in the graduate media education area.
In announcing this sponsorship of Live and Unsigned, FC director Darryl Sherborne said, “This is a great link up for Future Copyright. The Live and Unsigned brand and its support of new talent really fits with FC. Our users include a large number of graduate music producers, musicians and song writers; and our focus on supporting new artists can be delivered through this relationship with Live and Unsigned. All 10,000 entrants to this year’s competition will get the opportunity to open a Future Copyright account and will be able to protect their submitted songs for free. We will also be offering a similar deal to approx. 30,000 entrants from previous years of this competition."
Live & Unsigned Operations Director Chris Grayston said “This link up with FC will really enhance the Live & Unsigned Competition. Future Copyright is a great product and their team and their existing legal and educational partners will offer great support to all entrants to this competition.”
Amongst the benefits that this will bring to Live & Unsigned bands are:
- Special advice clinics covering the ‘truths and myths of copyright protection’ at each audition round
- Sponsorship of selected audition awards and events
- All competition entrants will be offered a free Future Copyright account with free start-up credits
