Further details announced on tax breaks for animation, high-end television and video games industry
The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has announced further consultation documents on the proposed tax relief that will be introduced in April 2013 in the animation, high-end television and video games industries.
The consultation paper sets out the proposed method under which you could claim tax relief for projects you work on in these industries.

The main basis of the proposals is to satisfy the "Cultural tests" and examples and guidance is given on each consultation paper.
The deadline for submitting comments is the 29th October.
Once the final proposals have been announced, Cardens will provide further guidance on how this affects each industry and how you can best go about making claims for these tax breaks.
