Ethical designer and social media guru to speak at start-up event in Hove next week
A Brighton mum, who has set up an ethical designer swimwear business and a locally-based social media guru and eBay expert, are to share their tips and stories at a business event at Staples in Hove next week.
Jo Godden, who works as a designer for ethical underwear company Pants to Poverty, is set to launch Ruby Moon, which aims to raise funds to help entrepreneurial women in developing countries, next month.
Dan Wilson, author of Make Serious Money on eBay UK, is an online community expert and blogger working out of his Brighton home. He will be providing tips on how businesses and entrepreneurs can make use of social media to market their products or services.
They will both join business expert and author Emma Jones at an exclusive start-up event for people considering setting up their own business – or working from home.
The event is at Staples in Davigdor Road in Hove on February 16 at 6pm.
To sign up for the free Hove event go to: http://working5to9hove.eventbrite.com
