Domestic & General raises £1200 for Macmillan

 

Brighton-based Domestic & General raised more than £1,200 for Macmillan last week.

 

 

Employees at the appliance care company enjoyed a mixture of home-baked and shop brought goods to raise money as part of the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’.

 

Nicki Perry, HR manager, said: “Macmillan is such a worthwhile cause, the work they do is incredible and the care they provide is second to none. We were keen to get involved and give our backing to try and raise as much money as possible.

 

“We are delighted with the results and everyone’s efforts to make this truly one big coffee morning for charity.”

 

There are now 2.5 million people in the UK living with cancer with one in three people facing cancer at some point during their lives.

 

Domestic & General supplied tea and coffee throughout the morning for employees.
