Creative businesses: we want your views!
The Creative Industries in Brighton and Hove are rightly seen to be a key part of the city’s economy. This does not just relate to their growth potential, but also to the role that they have in helping to shape the city’s brand and reputation. However, there is no doubt that times are hard and public funding far more scarce for creative organisations. This industry has unique needs and requires nurturing if the city is to maintain its reputation as a leading cultural provocateur.
To allow this sector to grow and flourish, encouraging sustainability and creating opportunities, we need to take a closer look at what they need and how we as a business community can support them. To capture this information Fay MacDonald, who has designed and developed the Ride the Wave events for Creative Industries, has written a very short survey which will help to capture information that could inform future events and development of a creative business network.
If you work in or run your own creative business, please take a couple of minutes to answer these questions. Your input is invaluable and greatly appreciated.
