"Brighton & Hove has a thriving independent hospitality sector made up of celebrated restaurants, quirky cafés, atmospheric pubs and stylish design bars. With some of the UK's best local produce on our doorstep, and a world of cuisines to enjoy, our city is quite rightly recognised as a foodie destination. Supporting this unique mix through events such as Ride the Wave and groups such as the food festival's Brighton Restaurant Association are critical to the survival of the sector in challenging economic times. Independent businesses can create an edge by sharing best practice, joint marketing, collectively nurturing new talent into the industry, and group buying."
Nick Mosley, director, Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival
The Ride the Wave 2012 series is funded and led by Brighton & Hove City Council, delivered by Brighton and Hove Chamber of Commerce, and backed by Business Support Partnership.
Workshops are free, but places are limited. Anyone interested should book soon to avoid disappointment.
