Brighton Togs re-launches as VERVATE
Leading photographic agency Brighton Togs is re-launching with a new identity to reflect its expansion in to more areas and services.
The company, now VERVATE, has enjoyed great success, working with companies from a diverse range of sectors, and is updating its brand as it markets itself in new areas and specialisms.
Founder Susi Doherty explains, “We’ve gained a fantastic reputation serving the corporate and PR markets locally. Our new identity is designed to reflect that we offer more than a local photography agency, and that we are increasingly working further afield – we were in Glasgow last week, and London again next week. On a lighter note, Togs had to go as I got sick of people thinking we sold children’s clothes! I wanted a name that more clearly reflected the buzz and vigour we bring to our commissions. So out came the scrabble letters! “
Susi manages a team of award-winning photographers, all of whom have worked extensively in regional and national Press. Her core team includes multi-award winning photographers Simon Dack and Skye Brackpool.
Susi has had a varied background, which includes marketing, event and project management, training and teaching. She believes this eclectic career, along with the experience of running Togs, has helped establish the services that VERVATE will now offer.
As Susi explained, “A quick Google search brings up fascinating stats about why using original visual content is so important; businesses can really struggle with this. What we are doing is working closely with companies of all sizes to provide them with vibrant, bespoke, story-telling images. We also help them get maximum use from the photographs, creating as much buzz as possible for their company.
“I am incredibly excited to have got to this point in the life of the business. We started bang in the middle of a recession and have slowly grown to the point where we can invest in expansion. The business community in Brighton is exciting and thriving – a great place to get established. Brighton & Hove Chamber of Commerce has been invaluable in providing support, direct clients and a fab group of business friends. I’ve met some amazing people on the journey so far – and I’m really looking forward to this new phase.”
