BRIGHTON FASHION WEEK 2012, 30 May - 3 June
No deck chairs, never mind the pier, pebbles be damned!
… Embrace the sublime, the surreal, and the subversive...
Preparations for Brighton Fashion Week 2012 are in full swing as we speak, and it promises to be a legendary five-day fashion extravaganza showcasing men’s and women’s apparel, accessories, beauty and grooming products presented in a way that only Brighton can – as an individualistic and socially conscious spectacle with an endearingly gritty, laid-back charm.
WHY BRIGHTON ROCKS
Brighton revels in its reputation as a hub of individualism and a haven to the underground. It's a cosmopolitan, forward-thinking, and socially aware enclave for kindred spirits of the counter culture. This is reflected in its avant-garde sensibility towards arts, lifestyle, music, politics, and social issues. Having said that, Brighton is also home to some of the most dedicated, hard-working, and talented creative types in the UK. Toss a pebble in any direction and you’re bound to hit an artist, or a designer, or a musician right upside the head! They are so dedicated and focused on their art and success, they don’t even see that pebble coming, or feel it bounce off their noggin.
