Bookkeeping for Start-Ups Workshops from specialist accountants for growing businesses
Hove-basedBainbridge Lewis, accountants for growing businesses, are running a number of tailored Bookkeeping for Start-Ups workshops. The first workshop is on September 20th, 2011 from 2.00pm-5.00pm at The Whitehawk Inn, a charity advice centre in Brighton.
The workshop is designed to help new business owners understand the steps they need to take to set up and manage their own bookkeeping. Director of Bainbridge Lewis Carol Lewis, who is also an accountancy lecturer at Brighton’s City College, will run the workshop.
Carol said: “We know that many start-ups find the prospect of doing their own books daunting. But it is often necessary where funds don’t permit to employing a bookkeeper or bookkeeping software. But managing your own financial record keeping is straightforward and need not be overly time consuming. This workshop will show business owners how to do their bookkeeping in excel – with no start-up costs, software licenses or fees to worry about. We’ll also give some handy tax tips.”
The workshop costs £50 per person and will be repeated on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 and Tuesday, December 13, 2011.
